Welcome to Town & Country’s Annual Review 2009

We have produced our annual review as a mini website this year. It is much more flexible than traditional print in the way that it allows us to show you our work from the past year. It also offers important environmental benefits and cost savings. We hope that you find it interesting and easy to find your way around. You can go straight to the section you are interested in by using the links on the left. Links on the individual pages also help you to browse the Annual Review, see related items and go to relevant website for more information.

We would love to hear what you think of this format so please leave your feedback on the format and any other comments you may have on our Annual Review feedback form.

During the year, we have been working to further improve our services in everything we offer to customers. We conducted a survey of all of our residents, of whom more than 2,600 people took part, telling us their view of our services and suggesting ways we can improve. This was important for us to ensure we provide an excellent service, which meets the needs of our customers.

A lot of hard work has been done as a result of this feedback, for example, setting up a single telephone line for our residents to contact us, working to ensure repairs are fixed in one job, improving accommodation for older people.

We are also investing heavily in improving our properties and estates to make them better places to live and help reduce residents’ energy bills.

Our development work has continued well despite the difficult housing market and our charitable Foundation has seen an excellent first year of work in our communities.
