Worried about your energy bills increasing?

Find out how you can save money on your energy and water bills

On 1 April 2022 the energy price cap rose by 54%. As a result, the average household will see roughly a £700 increase in their yearly energy bill. We work with our partner Agility Eco, who helped almost 45,000 UK households in 2020-21 alone, to offer free energy advice to our residents. This can save you money on your energy and water bills, and it’s also good for the environment.

What can the Energy Advice Service help with?

Some examples of what AgilityEco can advise you on:

  • Reducing electricity, gas and water bills
  • How to heat your home efficiently while staying warm
  • Applying for water-saving freebies (if available)
  • Whether you are eligible for the Priority Services Register which energy suppliers use to give extra support to vulnerable customers
  • Condensation, damp and mould
  • Installing and using a smart meter
  • And more…

Extra in-depth financial advice sessions are available for low income or vulnerable residents, delivered by AgilityEco’s partner Income Max CIC. They can help with things like energy and water budgeting support and debt advice, accessing water tariffs and white goods grants. Eligibility for this extra session will be assessed in the energy advice call.

Please be aware that AgilityEco or Income Max CIC will not be able to help with any repair or insulation requests or heating or window upgrades. If you would like advice about any of these, please contact us.
