Get free advice on training and learning
Residents have been invited to find out about training and learning opportunities at an open morning at Monson House on Friday 20 May from 9am to 12noon. It’s part of the 20th Adult Learners Week and a range of local organisations will be here to offer help and advice on opportunities such as:
- First Aid
- Money Skills
- Food Hygiene
Anyone can come along for a friendly chat with staff from Next Steps, Voluntary Action Within Kent, S&G Training, Headway & West Kent YMCA U-Turn Project, and Town & Country Foundation. Free refreshments will be available.
A free careers advice session hosted by Next Step will take place at Monson House every fortnight. Next Step is a national careers service for adults which offers impartial advice on how to move forward in learning, training or work.
They can help you:
- Develop your CV
- Improve your skills
- Find Training Courses
- Find out about funding for courses.
