We have the pleasure in consulting residents in preparation for the full planning application we intend to submit in September/October 2021.
As introduction, Monson Homes Limited is a subsidiary company and part of Town & Country Housing and we use Monson Homes to develop our new homes for market sale, and affordable housing. We then sell our homes through our brand company Love Living Homes.
In 2019 we purchased phase 1, the land immediately off Canterbury Road West. This comprises 65 new homes and we achieved reserved matters approval in January 2021. We have recently appointed Jenner Construction Limited to complete the works and they will be starting in earnest in September 2021 with the homes to be completed in 2023.
We have also secured the option to purchase the phase 2 land immediately to the south of phase 1 and this consultation relates to the proposed development of phase 2.
Below you can view the proposed site plans, and drawings for your review. These plans are not finalised, and we will be developing our proposal with the results of this consultation and the input provided by Thanet Council and the Parish Council.
The proposed development comprises 145 residential homes, predominantly houses with a single block of 8 flats. The design will be accessed off the phase 1 road and will have a secondary emergency access into Clive Road.
