Operations Director Update

By July 20, 2022 No Comments

Our current Operations Director, Jo Ellis, will be retiring from Town and Country Housing at the end of July after being with us for 10 years. We’re sad to see Jo leave but delighted to announce Stuart Ilsley as the new Operations Director.

Having worked in the sector for 35 years, Jo is now ready to be moving into the next chapter of her life. She would like to pass on her thanks to all TCH residents and says “It has been a privilege to meet many of you during my 10 years here. I especially want to thank the Resident Scrutiny Panel for their hard work in helping us improve our services.”

Jo would also like to thank the staff team for their support and says “I am also proud to have worked with an amazing group of people at Town & Country. No matter the challenge, I know they always do their best. I would like to congratulate Stuart who will be taking on my role. I know he will do an amazing job.”

Stuart, who is currently the Assistant Director of Transformation, adds “I’m excited to be taking on the role as Operations Director. I’m looking forward to working with you, our residents, to help shape the future of TCH.

With the current rises in the cost of living, I know many people will be suffering financial hardship. One of my priorities will be to work closely with colleagues and other organisations to look at ways we support residents through this time.

I’m delighted to have been appointed to the role but very sad to say goodbye to Jo, who I’ve learnt a great deal from in the years we’ve worked together. Building on this knowledge, the experience I’ve developed working in housing and my passion for customer service, I will continue to grow and develop our services with a focus on your priorities.”
