Rent

This is a charge for the use of your home. The level of rent charged will depend on your property’s attributes such as whether it is a house or a flat and how many bedrooms it has etc. It is a regulatory requirement for us to set our rents as prescribed by the government.

Service charges

This cover the costs of services we provide in communal areas and around your property, in the scheme, estate and block of flats that you live in.

Examples include:

  • Communal cleaning, gardening and lift servicing in shared areas.
  • Communal utility bills

In some cases you may incur personal service charges in your own home such as water, heating and electricity.
